Reuss New Media is a boutique web and graphic design firm. We offer our clients affordable rates, responsive customer service and high-quality design.

Philosophy

We think design is far more than making things look good. We believe good design is about making things easier to understand and more enjoyable to use. So while we strive to create work that is aesthetically appealing, our primary objective is to improve communication between our clients and their audiences so that ultimately, they may achieve their business/organizational goals.

Services

We’re well rounded individuals. From marketing to design to programming, we understand each component and how it relates to the bigger picture. So while we specialize in web design, we are also well-suited to deliver other communication materials like logos, business cards, brochures and CD-ROMs.

Staff

Reuss New Media is run by us—Ben Blakley and Ashley Gamble. Our experience spans many media and various industries. We’ve worked on projects for Fortune 500 companies, international nonprofit organizations, advertising agencies, small businesses, freelance designers and tech start-ups. We are both graduates of the University of California at San Diego where Ben studied visual arts and economics and Ashley studied communications.

Process

Our production process is organized into the following steps:

  1. Discover – We meet with our client to determine the project’s goals and specifications.
  2. Estimate – We draft an estimate that details the project’s specifications, timeline and cost.
  3. Design – With the client’s approval, we begin exploring creative solutions to the project’s design challenges. We review ideas with the client to gain feedback and insight.
  4. Prototype – We then build a simplified version of the best design idea to explore the concept further.
  5. Produce – With the prototype approved, we move onto building and implementing the content and features. We post updates for intermediate client feedback and approval.
  6. Test – With the project fully produced, we pause for final touches and corrections.
  7. Deliver – The project is delivered after final client sign-off.

In case you were wondering, the “Reuss” in Reuss New Media is pronounced like “Royce” and comes from a name in Ben’s family tree.
